Scottish Collie Chamionship Show 22/5/22

I want to say a big thank you to Scottish Collie Club for inviting me to Judge Bitches back home in my homeland.

It was a pleasure to be back home thanks to my steward Loraine Quince and Committee for all their help at the new venue in Dumfries.

I had some lovely girls to go over some obviously would prefer outside but weather wasnt kind to us so you can only judge them on the day.

I felt my CC RCC and BPB were so typy loved them all and all sables too! There is still quality out there and with careful planned breeding would be good for the future, but try and not sacrifice breed type for other things, thanks to all who entered under me.

1st Johnstone Sea Dreamer's Gracy Love
Super sweet baby with all the credentials to do well lovely eye & expression clean well moulded head & neat ears good body shape for age and nice bone moved confidently round ring for her first show and was that bit more mature at this stage than second presented lovely well done good luck with her BPB.

2nd Mccarte Mr & Mrs & J Roughrigg One Of A Kind Another nice baby who has the credentials Neck shape clean lines through out was just a little bit less mature & confident on the move than first but im sure with time it will all come together nicely presented good luck.

1st Walker Gary & Mrs M Walker & Mrs L Ritchie Starlenga Nina Simone I like this Blue Girl nice clean head good Ears when she uses them makes such a difference to her expression, lovely reach of neck and good length of back, adequate bone for a bitch she has a lovely outline & on the move she powers round the ring with drive & is a picture, colour is good for age & was groomed so well unfortunately in the challenge she did not like my ball apologies some like it others not keep going with her she is nice.
2 nd Mr & Mrs J &M Hobkirk Chantique Sugar Moon nice sable bitch with nice outline make and shape moved ok
3rd Welsh Brenda Ingledene Snow Dream at Thistlewing

JB Entry 4 1 A 1st Turner Charlene Paulara Keep The Faith Shaded Sable clean moulded head with nice ear carriage & expression good length of back conformation good moved freely a bit happy with tail presented nicely.
2nd Hodges Ms J Jopium Loves to Dream Sable with a lovely shape & reach of neck good outline head handled well would prefer slightly tighter ears & she moved out well excellent presentation.
3rd Barron & Jenkins Mr & Mrs Takhisis Summer Solstice at Rannaleroch

YB Entry 1 Turner Charlene Corisian French Flirt Golden Sable who has a very nice expression good balanced head with neat ears good bone nice length to back moved ok well presented.

NB entry 2 1st Clark Kerr Mrs Dawn Uffspring Uniquely Mayd Tri Bitch with a nice overall make & shape pleasing expression ears could be tighter a bit of weight watchers required but moved well enough.

GB Entry 6 1 St Hutchings Mrs Isobel Riverside Song Flor D`luna at Scottrye This lovely Blue was in top contention she is of a very beautiful colour considering her breeding allthough not over long in head it is clean and balanced with a most exquisite expression when she brings her ears up she has a lovely reach of neck and nice conformation & shape good bone neat feet and good bend of stifle unfortunately didnt seem too keen on floor so was difficult to asses her movement would like to see her outside but can only judge at the time a very nice bitch with interesting breeding to me.
2nd Walker Gary Starlenga All About Me Tri Bitch I would prefer ears bit tighter & tipped over and eye more oblique she has a lovely outline & shape good jet black colour, good front assembly nice bone & moved out well presented nicely.
3rd Finney Deborah Millubie Rewind.

PGB Entry 6 1A Brodie Mrs Wilma Quintessa Sofia My Golden Love and Victory For Shanaburn This shaded sable caught my eye with her cheeky expression nice moulded head with excellent ear carriage lovely shape & make nice rounded bone neat feet moved out very freely and was full of mischief very alert kept her handler on her toes but well presented.
2nd Davis Michelle Samhaven Sapphire for Beldones Blue bitch with a Pleasing head & expression would like bit more tip on ears has a fabulous colour neck & shape nice length of back nicely rounded bone tight feet overall a very upstanding and eye catching bitch moved out well.
3rd Locckyer Melissa Riverside Song Eclipse For Gataj.

LB Entry 6 A 2 1St Iley Mrs Daphne & Tony Iley Arklethill Delilah At Ileyda One of my stars today having competed against her in younger days i have allways admired her she is of quality breeding that has stood the test of time this dark sable has a truly lovely head with no exaggeration clean wedged head soft melting expression and uses her ears well good front angulation fair reach of neck nice topline & backend well set tail carriage and moves round the ring at a nice confident pace straight at front with good reach shows well for her handler and liked my squeaky ball presentation first class CC and BOB I truly hope her third is not far away loved her and thank you for bringing her.
2nd Brooker Mrs P M E J &JL another quality golden sable bitch who was unlucky to meet the first she has a soft expression neat well used ears nice make & shape she is very attentive to her handler and is presented to a high standard she moved well round ring thanks for bringing her too.

OB Entry 6 A 2 1St Walder Mr & Mrs Simon & Hannah CH Hanvale Polly Shelby One of my other stars today this Golden sable back in coat has improved with age in my opinion she is so feminine and sweet another who has excellent breeding that has produced quality and type over many years her young handler has had success with in the past she has a very soft sweet eye and expression super ears on alert at all times lovely front assembly good length and height ratio lovely bone neat tight feet she obviously is in love with her mum as even my squeaky ball couldnt detract her loving glaze away from mum I really was splitting hairs between the two of them nothing at all in it presented as always beautifully RCC my CC and BPB just oozed femininity and type thank you for bringing quality bitches to go over .
2nd Foy/ Hawkins Odile/ Brian Beldones Looks Like Fun Dark sable of of excellent make and shape and conformation she has a clean head just would prefer slightly sweeter eye she moved well and presented nicely unlucky to meet her relation today.
